It is better to fill that space with a decorative plant before nature does it with a weed. A bench or seat close to a tree always provides an excellent focal point. Just make sure you leave enough room for the trunk to expand.

We are a retail plant nursery, selling plants to the public at wholesale prices. We grow our own plants in conditions that ensure our plants grow in our customers gardens. We specialize in very cold hardy plants to suit our area. We have frost most nights during winter, with minimums as low as minus 8.
