Catch & Release Fishing
Enjoy a relaxing day next to the calming waters. There is fish of all sizes, Carp, Koi, and Barber. You are welcome to make use of the braai area, bring your own picnic basket or buy some light refreshments at the coffee shop. No alcohol allowed.
To ensure that all visitors enjoy their time with us, we ask that everyone always keep our fishing area clean. Pick up all trash and clean up after yourself.
For the safety of all please ensure that no sharp objects are left lying around for small feet to step onto.
Small children must be always under supervision.
No visitors are allowed to enter the water. No swimming and no boats of any kind allowed.
We are a pet friendly business. We do however ask that all pets be kept on a leash and always remain with the owner(s). No pets will be allowed to run around freely outside of the fishing area. Keep in mind that not all customers coming to the nursery or coffee shop is aware of any pets that might be roaming around, and we would like to avoid any injuries.
All visitors to pay entry fee at the office before entering the fishing area.
Fishing: R50 per person
Day visitors (non-catching): R20 per person
Hours for Catch & Release: (Hours may differ depending on season)
All visitors, fishing and non-fishing must please make sure to pack up half an hour (30 minutes) before the nursery closes.
Peak Season: August – February
Monday to Sunday: 8am to 4pm [3:30pm]
Off Season March: – July
Monday to Saturday: 8am to 4pm [3:30pm]
Sundays: 8am to 2pm [1:30pm]
Public Holidays: (year-round): 8am to 2pm [1:30pm]
Please ensure that you double check with the office what the current hours are as this may change over time.
